Custom VR training & simulation

Custom training built around your people and procedures

We build VR, desktop and web applications for hands-on learning, from equipment procedures to education and healthcare training.

Build your training application with us, or bring us in to implement or extend an existing project.

Delivered by Simvra / Global cloud provider · anonymised

Datacenter operations training and exam

Simvra designed and built a training application for a global cloud provider, including an assessment used for a datacenter hiring exam.

Quest 3 standalone · Delivered 2024 · Client identity withheld under NDA.

Simvra also delivered guided equipment training for an industrial pump manufacturer and procedure training for a private hospital.

What I especially appreciate is his flexibility and willingness to think along with you instead of simply executing instructions. He actively looks for solutions and is easy to work with throughout the process.

From first call to handover

  1. step 1 of 4

    Scoping call

    30 min

Within 2 business days of our call, I’ll send you a written outline of what we can build and a rough price.

  2. step 2 of 4

    Training pilot or full program

Pilot: 2-5 weeks · Typical full program: 6-14 weeks

Start with a 2-5-week fixed-price pilot when you need to prove the approach, or move directly to a full program when the requirements, budget and scope are already clear. If you start a full program within 6 months of a pilot, 50% of the pilot price is credited toward the full program.

  3. step 3 of 4

    Build and review

Review a new build every week and check progress at each milestone.

  4. step 4 of 4

    Handover and support

Receive the application, the content files listed in your contract and the documentation. You can add an optional support plan.

Common questions

We base your quote on the equipment, procedures and devices involved. You can start with a focused training module or plan a larger program. Send a short description of what you need, and I'll help define the scope and an initial budget. A pilot takes 2-5 weeks. If you start a full program within 6 months of a pilot, 50% of the pilot price is credited toward it because the groundwork carries forward. Ongoing hosting and support are quoted separately. See how we scope projects.

A pilot takes 2-5 weeks and gives your team a working build to review. A complete single-scenario simulator typically takes 6-14 weeks. We can use your CAD or model the equipment from photos and measurements, using your manuals to check its behaviour. Modelling adds time at the start. You'll see a new build every week from week one.

VR training uses a headset, either on its own or connected to a PC. Desktop apps are installed on a computer. Web lessons open in a web browser. Each version needs its own development and testing.

Your instructors help set the assessment criteria. In web training, they can review each learner's attempts, scores, completed required steps, errors and use of hints. For VR and desktop apps, we'll decide with you which results to record before building. If you need exports or a connection to your learning system, we'll plan that separately.

Simvra has delivered a VR hiring assessment for a global cloud provider's datacenter operations. Finishing a lesson does not always mean passing it, and performance on the real job still needs to be checked.
